We are a direct market access and not a market maker, so therefore spreads are variable but nice and low.
Volatility and liquidity effects the Interbank spreads and that is why it is variable - it changes not fixed.
Spread changes depending on the currency pair, time of the day and the news etc. It is standard practice to quote EUR USD and our EUR USD is from 0.6 to about 1.6 during 99% of the market conditions, but it can go even wider during times like NFP for example.
The important thing to remember is that we are a Direct Market Access Broker so we cant mark up spreads to make profits. We don't have a dealing desk so its not possible.
The spread that our client's pay reflects raw interbank spreads and they go to the liquidity providers.
TDMarkets makes its profits from the commission only, we charge $2 per full lot.
Most brokers charges 6 to 8 dollars per full lot size and as far as i know there is nobody that matches our low commissions.
2 USD per full lot. A full lot is 10 USD per pup.
1 USD per pup is a con of 20c.
10 cents per pup is a commission of 2 cents
